This mesmerizing Tanjore painting portrays the image of the Goddess of wisdom Saraswati. Devi Saraswati is the embodiment of all knowledge. In the painting, she is seen wearing a white saree with beautiful motifs and border embossed in gold. Devi is also wearing crown and ornaments which is giving it a real feel with gold plating. Devi is also wearing a garland of pink lotus. The mukhakriti (face gesture) is mild and soft. Devi is holding and playing Veena with two hands. With other two hands she is holding a veda and a japa mala. The dome is intricately carved and curtains in red color are giving it a more real look. This painting can be placed in Pooja, living or Study room. It is also a best gifting option for people who are artists, astrologers, laureates or singers etc.
