This Banarasi is handwoven in yellow and light blue colour. The saree is woven in half-half design. Half of the saree is in yellow colour and half of the saree is in blue colour. The saree has big bootas (motifs) in paan (beetel leaf) shape in its pleats. Half saree on pallu is in blue colour having zari bootas of blossomed flowers. Yellow colour is associated with happiness and blue is the colour of infinite sky. The border of the saree is woven in bright colors of orange, pink and yellow consecutively. The use of golden zari and silk threads make this saree special. This saree comes with an attached blouse piece.
